Robert's First Soccer Game of the Season

Robert playing for the U10 ISD soccer team (Sept. 2013)
Riding his bike home after this picture was taken, Robert fell off his bike and broke his hand.

Duisburg to Dusseldorf Run

The greenery was intense.
My run started off in the forest.
The sun was rising slowly.
I ran through farm fields.
I ran past horses grazing in the fields.

Hidden memorials along the way.
I ran through small towns.
I ran along horse trails.
I ran past castles with moats.
I followed the path going south.
I ran down cobblestones.
Farm fields went on and on.
The final stretch home.

Family Holiday (August 2013) Camping in Holland

Texel is an island in the north of Holland that we accessed by ferry.  We did not have our phones charged, our camera with us or access to an outlet so we did not take any pictures.  However, his picture looks very similar to the beach that we frolicked around.  How perfect is this beach!

Happy Belated Birthday my Special (Now 7) Reece

Few Things in life are finer for Reece than spiders and bugs.  The theme of this last year has been tarantulas and scorpions.  So, how perfect for a party to include one of those!
