Peek-A-Boo
Peek-A-Boo! I see you! I have just learned about all a game called Peek-A-Boo and I love it. In fact, I sometimes play and laugh so hard that I start to cough. Why didn't anyone tell me about this game before? A great version of the game is to put pillows around me and over my head and then peek in the sides and peek quickly as the pillows fall down. Who would have thought that such fun could be had with a couple of pillows?
Roaming along the Rhine
A walk along the river's edge in Dusseldorf is always a great way to spend a Sunday. I am enjoying a bit of time with my mom and dad and then we are going to go for coffee. I will probably pass on the coffee and stick to my tried and true formula but the coffee bars are still great fun. This is truly a Germany tradition ... Relax and enjoy the Sunday without any hint of work or worry.

Hanging Out With Daddy!
Yes, spending the day with Daddy is so much fun. Sometimes I can be a bit difficult and trying but we manage to get along just fine. Usually Mom gets me dressed before she goes to work as she loves to pick out my clothes. On this morning, she snapped a picture on her way out the door. Like father, like son : )

My First Swimming Lesson!
My first taste of potatoes ... yuck!
I have started solids as I am now 6 months old. Why do parents do this to their poor, innocent babies? Bottles are reliable, tasty and easy to swallow. But, potatoes are thick and difficult to swallow. I made all the faces that I could to show them I don't like solids but everyday I still face potatoes and now carrots ... What will my parents think of next?

Happy Birthday Daddy
Yes, Robbie is off to take daddy out for his birthday dinner. Like father, like son, they are both wearing sports shirts. And, the birthday dinner includes steak and potatoes ... Well, Robbie does not really have the teeth yet for chewing steak. In fact, he has no teeth at all so his dinner included milk in a bottle. But, he had fun watching his parents enjoy their dinner. And, hence, the beautiful smile.
What the DUCK!
Going Sailing?
Yes, this is Robbie at 4 months of age. He is ready and set for sailing in the outfit that Grandma Deary bought for him. What he can't understand is why everyone is smiling and laughing at him as he looks innocently around the room. Dad was a bit horrified that he was dressed up so and he was quickly changed back into his regular jeans and t-shirt outfit by that afternoon. However, mom and Grandma Sally had a lot of fun with him that morning.

A Visit From Grandma!
Bath Time!
The biweekly bath ritual has become such fun. It starts with carefully measuring water temperatures and then ends with soap bubbles everywhere. Of course the whole episode, while fairly simple, seems to entail a lot of time, preparation and towels. But, in the end, a clean and happy Robbie is what is important, right? Are you having fun yet, Robbie? : )
Robbie is 3 months old now!
Watching Robbie grow and develop has been so fascinating. Every day he changes so much that it makes each moment so precious. The other day he sucked his thumb for the first time. The fact that he has not been able to find it since is insignificant : ) but the success or triumph of Robbie achieving something for the first time is such a wonderful time for Ben and me.
